what a relaxing getaway! the staff made you feel right at home and the cottages were extremely clean. we look forward to finding a reason to go back and visit.

These cottages are cute but definitely cozy. The WiFi connection was weak in our cottage, but other than that we had a great experience. Having a little kitchen is a nice way to save some money when on vacation and these cottages offer much more privacy than the nearby motels at a comparable rate.
We stayed in cottage #5 for 7 months through the "off season" after we sold our house in October. In May, we had to leave because Richard needed to prepare this cottage for "high season" rental. At the last minute, Richard offered us unit #12, part of a duplex, in the back, facing the river. We were told, we could stay there through the summer while we would build our new house. We were informed, during the first month's rent of unit #12, that we had to leave "once again" after we had recently moved our belongings from #5 to #12. Their reason, they really needed to collect the "high season" rate. So, once again, we had to prepare to move after we were told we could stay! All Richard could offer was "well, you didn't have to pay a security deposit or sign a lease". We left cottage #5 immaculate! Cleaner than how we found it! #12, we just moved out! Also, there were signs that someone came into both of these cottages from time to time. Once, we found a key to our cottage on the porch and it wasn't ours! Some of our mail had been send to their address. Even though, Richard and his wife had our emails and phone numbers and were specifically told we were looking for important bank documents, they never called to tell us we had mail waiting. My husband just left there looking for our mail. All their cars were in the driveway but no one came to the door! My husband walked into their office and on the counter at the bottom of the pile was our important mail, dated, June 14th! Today is July 3rd! Extremely disappointed with our experience with them.
